An office books differently from a parent. There is somebody who approves it, somebody who pays it, and often a form that has to be on file before either can happen. Choose the organization option on the booking form and the questions for all of that appear.

The paths

Each one is the same visit. What changes is who signs it off, how it is paid, and what has to be on file first.

Schools

Field days, reading rewards, agriculture and FFA weeks, end-of-year celebrations, and fundraisers run by a booster club or a PTO.

What is different

A school buys through an office rather than a personal card. The person organizing the day is often not the person who can commit the money, and payment goes through an invoice, a purchase order or a check. Naming both people at the start is what keeps a date from being agreed and then unwound two weeks later.

Churches and youth groups

VBS week, the summer picnic, youth nights, and outdoor services.

What is different

A church office pays on an invoice, usually by check, and the decision can sit with a committee that meets on a fixed schedule. Saying when that group next meets is what lets a date be held for a length of time that matches the decision, rather than an open-ended one.

Senior living and care communities

Visits brought to residents rather than residents brought to the animals, out on a patio or the grounds.

What is different

A community has its own rules about animals in the building, its own sign-off and infection-control process, and an activities budget of its own. The route is walked with the activities director in advance, and the visit is planned around residents who cannot come outside.

Non-profits and community groups

Benefit nights, 4-H, booster clubs, town celebrations and festival committees. Usually a photo line with a donation point beside it.

What is different

A committee agrees an arrangement before the date and puts it in writing. Whether it is a flat fee, a share of what the photo line takes, or a donation with a minimum gets settled first, so nothing has to be worked out beside a collection bucket at the end of the evening.

Raising money with a llama

A photo line with a llama, run alongside a donation point, is a way for a group to raise money at an event it is holding anyway. Schools, churches, booster clubs, 4-H groups and benefit nights all book it the same way.

Send a request and mark it as an organization booking. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed by asking.
One summary arrives carrying the date, the format, the expected attendance, the paperwork you need and who has to sign it. Enough to answer yes or no without a chain of emails.
The arrangement is agreed in writing before the date: a reduced flat fundraiser rate, rather than a share of what you raise.
The date is held for an agreed length of time while your committee meets, rather than open-ended.
The same venue questions apply: a school parking lot has the same gates, surfaces and turning room as anywhere else.
Once it is agreed, the booking is treated like every other booking on the calendar.

How it is priced

We offer a reduced fundraiser/community rate rather than taking a percentage of funds raised. Pricing varies based on the number of llamas, event length, location and travel.

Why it is arranged separately

A committee cannot pay the way a family pays. An organization booking has an approval chain, a budget cycle, an invoice, often a W-9 and sometimes an insurance certificate naming the venue. Running that through a card link either fails outright or ends with somebody putting a fundraiser on a personal credit card. Marking a request as an organization booking collects those facts once, at the start, while the date is a long way off.
